Over the years we have had dozens of dedicated volunteers who have come from all over the world: England, France, Pakistan, Ireland, Germany, Wales, Australia, USA, Spain, and India.

Spirit of the Andes welcomes volunteers who'd like to spend 3 or more months in Bolivia working with our women and their children. We need people, who like to design clothing, work with web sites, play and teach little children and share their various skills with the knitters. Anyone with a desire to teach and to learn is welcome.

Two comfortable bedrooms are available at $160.00 USD a month which includes a Continental Breakfast. The fully equipped kitchen, living room and two baths are, also, for the use of volunteers. The apartment has two PCs and a Mac; all are connected to the internet.

The apartment/office is conveniently located in one of the nicest part of La Paz with the security of round-the-clock doormen.

It is not necessary to speak Spanish, but it is recommended that volunteers sign up with a language school just a few blocks away and practice Spanish with our knitters. (Go to the link SpeakEasy Institute to learn more.)
